Standing nearly 1.3 meters tall, DOBOT LUMO is described as the world’s first embodied all terrain humanoid robot, built to operate seamlessly across a wide range of everyday environments while adapting its behavior for different users and tasks.
Key Capabilities:
- True All Terrain Mobility – LUMO exhibits fluid, natural gait across complex terrains including lawns, sand, and cobblestone, transitioning effortlessly between outdoor, home, and office environments without any change in stride.
- Multimodal Perception & Interaction – Combining computer vision, voice interaction, and motion control, LUMO actively perceives its surroundings, communicates naturally, and carries out actions without relying solely on predefined commands.
- 3D Spatial Navigation & Obstacle Avoidance – Equipped with a high precision navigation system, LUMO can walk over to users proactively rather than waiting to be summoned, supported by leading anthropomorphic gait and strong motion control.
- Emotional Intelligence & Proactive Companionship – LUMO demonstrates emotion recognition capabilities and adjusts its behavior contextually for example, switching to a quieter walking mode and turning off lights after detecting that its owner has fallen asleep.
