Most robotic machine learning systems are designed around a fixed workspace. The Mobile AI breaks that assumption. Mounted on an integrated wheeled base, the four-arm configuration can be repositioned between labs, moved into warehouses, deployed in semi-structured environments, or shipped between facilities without disassembly. This matters for research teams that need to collect data across multiple locations, replicate experiments in different physical contexts, or demonstrate capabilities to partners and stakeholders outside a controlled lab.
The Mobile AI’s wheeled platform is compatible with the SLATE mobile base for teams that need to extend mobility further into autonomous navigation workflows. Because arm and camera placement are locked into the frame, spatial consistency is maintained from session to session — even when the platform itself is moving between sites. Field mobility and data reproducibility are not a trade-off with the Mobile AI; they are both built in by design.
